(Fae) Frances A Esparza
Frances A. Esparza, MBA known as Fae, is the Managing Partner of the Meaningful Investments Fund and founder of Start Solutions REI, a private investment firm connecting capital to socially responsible real estate opportunities.
After successfully completing a $50M+ fund of funds investment under the mentorship of Veena Jetti, Fae saw firsthand the power of delivering investor satisfaction through strong returns and tax-efficient, institutional-quality assets. That experience ignited a deeper purpose: using real estate as a force for financial growth and social good.
Drawing on her upbringing in a single-parent household impacted by addiction, Fae partners with mission-aligned nonprofits to ensure each investment does more than perform, it transforms.
As a proud Tejana, she leads with cultural pride and a fierce commitment to creating access and impact within underserved communities.

Amy Rende
Amy Rende is a Managing Partner of the Meaningful Investments Fund, bringing deep expertise in financial strategy, real estate investing, and operational execution.
After obtaining her Accounting degree from MichiganState University, Amy worked as a CPA with Arthur Andersen LLP. Amy leverages her financial acumen to underwrite and manage complex real estate projects with confidence and precision.
Since transitioning from a successful corporate career in finance and recruiting, Amy has built a multi-million dollar portfolio through strategic acquisitions, value-add renovations, and creative financing structures. She specializes in identifying underperforming assets with untapped potential and leading them from acquisition through stabilization.
Amy's strength lies in simplifying complex strategies and building efficient, scalable teams. Her focus on systems, ROI, and long-term performance makes her a critical driver of the Fund’s financial and operational success.
Karolyn Diaz
Karolyn Diaz, CPA is a Managing Partner of the Meaningful Investments Fund, bringing over a decade of high-level financial and advisory expertise to the team. A licensed CPA and former Big 4 auditor, Karolyn is known for empowering minority- and women-owned businesses with clarity, confidence, and control over their financial future.
Her professional journey began at PwC, where she spent eight years overseeing audits for Fortune 500 clients and advising on multi-billion-dollar portfolios. She later joined Embark’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services team, guiding clients through complex accounting issues and streamlining financial reporting systems for maximum efficiency and compliance.
Karolyn combines deep technical skill with an entrepreneurial mindset. Since founding her own firm, she has led the launch of outsourced accounting services that drive real results—strengthening cash flow, optimizing operations, and ensuring clients always know where they stand financially.
At the Fund, Karolyn leads financial reporting, fund operations, and compliance, applying her rigorous standards and heart-led mission to every decision. As a proud Latina and mother, she brings a sharp eye for detail, a big-picture vision, and a deep commitment to building wealth with integrity.
